Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is an American actress and producer that is well known for her highly commendable performances in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. The film Piano won her several awards which included an Oscar. The actress began her career as an actress on Broadway and Off Broadway. Since her childhood she's always been very passionate about acting. She portrayed Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in a school production. Mumps caused her to be deaf and blind in one ear. However, she did not allow this to stop her from becoming an actor. When she was a teenager, she took classes in drama at university and later moved to New York City from Pittsburgh so that she could pursue her ambitions. She met Beth Henley in an elevator and they collaborated for Broadway Crimes of the Heart the first movie Hunter made. Following her move into Los Angeles she tried to be a film actor and eventually landed an acting role as a support on Swing Shift. Holly Hunter has been in numerous film, television as well as movies throughout the span of her career. Holly Hunter was awarded a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star as well as the Women in Film Lucy Award.
